In the June issue of the UN-REDD Programme Newsletter, we welcome Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mongolia, Pakistan and Peru as new partners to the Programme! We also highlight key advancements in the REDD+ readiness process for Solomon Islands which recently signed its National Programme Document; report on progress made on MRV in Mexico with an update on the project “Reinforcing REDD+ Readiness in Mexico and enabling South-South cooperation“; and include a report on the issue of upholding the rights of Indigenous Peoples in forest management as discussed at the 10th Session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNFPII).
